The EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR, EU 2025/40) applies to all companies that place packaged products on the EU market. This includes manufacturers, importers, and distributors. The regulation enters full application on 12 August 2026 with further escalation levels in 2030 and 2035.

Yes. SUSY generates country-specific Declarations of Conformity (DoC) that meet the requirements of Annex VII and VIII. You can generate DoCs for all relevant EU member states with a single click.

SUSY currently supports multiple European languages including German and English, with the interface fully localized for each. Additional languages are available on demand - so your international teams and suppliers can work in the language they're most comfortable with.

Under PPWR, the producer placing the product on the market carries the sole and ultimate responsibility for the conformity of the packaging system. Even if data comes from suppliers, you remain legally liable. SUSYCHECK automates this burden of proof by structuring packaging data and supplier declarations into a complete, audit-proof compliance chain – protecting your organization and management.

If your suppliers cannot provide clear and verifiable statements, the responsibility does not shift – it stays with you. Relying on incomplete or vague supplier information (e.g. "not knowingly added") is not sufficient under PPWR.
