1. Technical Provision of the Website

a) Log files/Provision of the website

When you access our website, information is automatically transmitted by the browser used on your device to our website server and stored in log files. This includes, among other things, the IP address, date and time of access (including time zone), access status/HTTP status code, name and URL of the retrieved file, data volume transferred, referrer URL, browser used, and, where applicable, operating system and the name of your internet service provider.

Processing takes place to ensure a smooth connection setup and a comfortable use of our website, to evaluate system security and stability, and for other administrative purposes.

b) Consent management

We use our own cookie consent tool to obtain and manage your consents for data processing operations requiring consent (e.g., marketing/tracking). Your decision and the time of consent are stored in your browser (localStorage). No personal data is transmitted to third parties for this purpose.

III. Hosting and Technical Service Providers

Our website is operated with professional hosting providers within the EU who provide server and infrastructure services, maintenance, security, and support on our behalf. We have concluded data processing agreements with these providers in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

IV. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website uses technically necessary cookies required for the operation of the website, as well as — with your consent — optional cookies for marketing and statistical purposes.

a) Technically necessary cookies

These cookies are required for basic website functions and are set automatically. They cannot be disabled.

Legal basis: Sec. 25(2) No. 2 TTDSG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

b) Marketing cookies

With your consent, we use Google Ads, LinkedIn and OpenAI cookies to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns (conversion tracking). Data is transmitted to Google, LinkedIn or OpenAI respectively (see sections IV.c, IV.e and IV.f). These cookies are only activated after you provide explicit consent via our cookie banner.

c) Google Ads Conversion Tracking

We use Google Ads Conversion Tracking (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). With your consent, a cookie is set when you arrive at our website via a Google advertisement. This cookie is used to measure the success of our ads. No personal data is transmitted in plain text; data is evaluated in aggregated and anonymized form.

Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and has committed to compliance with GDPR requirements. Further information can be found in Google's Privacy Policy.

You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings (in the website footer).

We only load the Google tag (gtag.js) and any services embedded through it after you have given consent. Without your consent, no connection to Google's servers is established, no request is transmitted, and no cookie is set.

d) Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to statistically evaluate the use of our website (e.g., pages visited, time spent, visitor origin). Data collected is processed in pseudonymized form, and IP address truncation (anonymization) is active. Without your consent, no Google Analytics tag is loaded, no request is sent to Google, and no cookie is set.

e) LinkedIn Insight Tag

With your consent to marketing cookies, we use the LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland). It measures whether visitors take an action on our website after clicking one of our LinkedIn ads (conversion tracking), allows us to show ads on LinkedIn to people who visited our website (retargeting), and provides us with aggregated, anonymous reports on our website's audiences. This involves transmitting, among other things, the URL visited, the referrer URL, the IP address (truncated or hashed), device and browser properties and a timestamp to LinkedIn, and setting cookies. We do not receive any data that identifies individual persons.

Data may be transferred to LinkedIn Corporation in the USA; LinkedIn is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Further information can be found in LinkedIn's Privacy Policy. Without your consent, the LinkedIn Insight Tag is not loaded, no connection to LinkedIn's servers is established, and no cookie is set. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings (in the website footer).

f) OpenAI Measurement Pixel (ChatGPT ads)

With your consent to marketing cookies, we use OpenAI's Measurement Pixel (OpenAI Ireland Limited, 1st Floor, The Liffey Trust Centre, 117-126 Sheriff Street Upper, Dublin 1, D01 YC43, Ireland). It measures whether visitors take a contact action on our website after clicking one of our ads in ChatGPT (conversion tracking). This involves transmitting, among other things, the URL visited, a click identifier from the ad, the IP address, device and browser properties and a timestamp to OpenAI, and setting two cookies (__oppref, 30 days; __obref, 365 days). We do not use the pixel for retargeting and do not transmit email addresses or other contact details.

Data may be transferred to OpenAI in the USA. Further information can be found in OpenAI's Privacy Policy. Without your consent, the pixel is not loaded, no connection to OpenAI's servers is established, and no cookie is set. If you withdraw your consent via the cookie settings (in the website footer), both cookies are deleted.

V. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights: access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection (Art. 21) and withdrawal of consent (Art. 7(3)). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77).

Social Media Note

Social media platform operators may process your data partially in an automated manner (profiling) to provide targeted information and advertising. Please refer to the privacy notices of the respective platforms.

XI. Right to Object

If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR or Art. 6(1)(e) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR.

XII. Scope of Your Obligation to Provide Data

You are generally not obliged to provide us with your personal data. Without such data, however, we may not be able to provide the website, respond to your inquiries, or send you information.
